Various types of benefits, pensions, allowances, and compensations that are typically paid at the beginning of January will be transferred at the end of December. The timing of these payments will vary and depend on the method of receipt.
Families whose entitlement to the unified benefit ends on December 31, 2024, will receive it twice in the following month. The first payment will cover November and will be made in early December. The second payment for December will be made at the end of December for those who receive funds in the first days of the month.
A number of changes are expected for families with children at the regional level. This was explained by leading lawyer Oksana Krasovskaya from the "European Legal Service." In the Tambov region, parents will receive a one-time cash payment if their child is born between October 1, 2022, and December 31, 2024.
One of the parents can apply for this payment, but no later than six months after the child's birth. The amount of the payment is 5000 rubles.
In Kalmykia, the right to receive a one-time cash payment for women who give birth to a child between January 1, 2019, and December 31, 2024, at the age of up to 25 years will expire in December 2024. The payment amount is 30,000 rubles.
Parents from the Ivanovo region can receive a monthly payment for caring for their first child born between July 1, 2017, and December 31, 2024. Payments are made until the child reaches one and a half years of age.
This support measure applies to mothers who gave birth to their first child before turning 24. The father of the child can also receive it, under certain conditions. For instance, if the mother has been restricted in parental rights or declared missing.
On the regional level, certain categories of families will also receive New Year's gifts or payments. For example, in the Kamchatka Territory, there will be a cash payment for purchasing New Year's gifts for specific categories of citizens. Families will receive this payment automatically if they meet certain conditions, such as large families with children under 16 and families with disabled children under 18.
— The annual cash payment for purchasing New Year's gifts from the regional budget is 600 rubles. Residents of the Koryak District and the Aleut Municipal District in Kamchatka will receive a higher amount of 700 rubles, — noted Oksana Krasovskaya.
In the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, an additional pension payment is expected in connection with the 94th anniversary of the formation of the region. The amount will be 1000 rubles.
— Pensioners who receive their January pension at the end of December will also get an increase in their pension for caregiving, calculated with the indexation. The fact is that caregivers can be arranged for pensioners over 80 or first-group disabled individuals. After that, a compensatory payment is established for a non-working and non-entrepreneurial capable citizen who looks after a dependent person. Starting from the New Year, the situation will change. The payment will be automatically established for all pensioners over 80 and first-group disabled individuals. If a person receives their pension at the beginning of the month, they will be credited with the January pension in December, already including this increase of 1200 rubles, — explained lawyer Elena Kuznetsova.
