The general producer of the streaming service Kion, Igor Mishin, has left his position. This information was reported by RIA Novosti, referencing Facebook (a social network banned in Russia; owned by Meta, which is recognized as extremist and prohibited in the Russian Federation). However, this announcement is not present on the producer's page.
“Today was my last working day. De jure at Kion. By mutual agreement of the parties due to personal circumstances. De facto — I have decided to end my career in the industry,” reads the publication.
The Kion press service clarified to RIA Novosti that the contract with the general producer was terminated “by mutual agreement of the parties due to personal circumstances.”
On November 21, law enforcement conducted searches at Mishin's home in the Moscow region. RIA Novosti reported that this was related to a “case concerning ties with Ukrainian terrorists.” The Telegram channel 112 noted that the search was part of the case involving Marat Gelman (recognized as a foreign agent in Russia, included in the list of terrorists and extremists by Rosfinmonitoring).
