Musician Ringo Starr has confirmed that actor Barry Keoghan will portray him in Sam Mendes' film about the Beatles. His comments were reported by Entertainment Tonight.
The drummer of the iconic band stated that he approved of the Irish actor's casting to represent him in the upcoming biopic. Starr suggested that the "Batman" star has likely already begun learning to play the drums and expressed hope that "there won't be too many" of them.
It is known that the film about the legendary group will consist of four parts—one for each member of the Liverpool quartet. Reports indicate that, in addition to Barry, the film will feature Harris Dickinson (as John Lennon), Paul Mescal (as Paul McCartney), and Charlie Rowe (as George Harrison). However, these insights have yet to be confirmed or denied.
