Belousov stated that Russian forces have successfully disrupted the Ukrainian Armed Forces' campaign planned for 2025.

“The combat work we have conducted here has effectively ground down their best units, and this has accelerated our advancement... We have essentially disrupted their entire 2025 campaign,” said Mr. Belousov during the meeting.

The commander of the grouping, Colonel General Alexander Lapin, reported on the completion of combat tasks and the use of aviation, artillery, and drones. Belousov was also shown NATO weaponry used by the enemy, including UAVs, communication equipment, and small arms.

The Minister of Defense expressed gratitude to the commanders for their high combat performance and awarded medals to the servicemen who displayed courage. At the training ground, Belousov assessed the organization of training and also presented awards.

The “North” troop grouping was established in the combat zone following the initiation of the military operation. The servicemen within this grouping are participating in military operations along the borders of the Belgorod and Bryansk regions with Ukraine, as well as in the territory of the Kursk region.
