The leader of the band "Bi-2," Yegor Bortnik (listed by the Ministry of Justice as a foreign agent), known by the stage name Leva Bi-2, has announced that he has been financially supporting the group with his own funds for the past six months. An interview with him was published by the YouTube channel Malanka Action.
According to the artist, he sold his "large and expensive" apartment in Moscow to pay the salaries of the band members. He asserts that currently, "Bi-2" is generating income from its musical activities and is approaching self-sufficiency.
"I have sacrificed my well-being on the altar of dedication. And I do not regret it one bit. In such moments, you start to understand what conscience really is," Leva stated.
Previously, Leva Bi-2 admitted that his band is on the brink of bankruptcy.
