Three-time Russian champion with Spartak, Viktor Bulatov, commented on Dejan Stanković's work as the head coach of the red-and-whites.
“The first matches of Spartak under Stanković, excluding the game in Orenburg, were promising. Barco was added, around whom the game can be built, but then the lineup started to fluctuate. This did not lead to anything good. Stanković needs more time to make comprehensive conclusions. After six months, a coach should already show results. The main indicator is stability. Stanković lacks that,” Bulatov told RB Sport.
After 16 rounds, Spartak sits in fourth place in the RPL standings with 31 points. Under the guidance of the Serbian coach, the team has achieved nine victories in the Russian championship, drawn four times, and lost three times.
