The President of the Federation of Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined of Russia spoke about the start of the winter season.

— From December 6 to 8, we will host the first international competition of the new winter season, the "Metallinvest Cup", which will be a significant part of the preparation for the Russo-Chinese Games, — noted Dubrovsky. — Nizhny Tagil is rightly considered the main venue for international competitions in our sports, as it has been hosting events of the highest level for many years. Despite the warm weather, the jumps at the "Aist" complex are already covered with snow, and after the first stages of the Cup of Russia, they will be fully prepared to welcome guests from friendly countries.

For athletes, this event will be a great opportunity to show the fans how the summer training season went and to demonstrate their long jumps and quick races. The youth team will gain additional international experience by competing against athletes from Kazakhstan and the leaders of the Russian national team in our sports.
