Dzhikia on bonuses in the national team: "The amount has changed since the suspension."

In an interview with "Sovetsky Sport," Khimki defender Georgy Dzhikiya discussed the changes in the bonuses for the Russian national team following their suspension from international tournaments.

Defender of "Khimki," Georgy Dzhikiya, spoke with "SE" about the changes in the bonus structure for the Russian national team following the suspension from international tournaments.

“I haven’t been in the national team for a while. As of today, I don't have information about the bonus system. However, it's clear that the size of the bonuses has changed after the suspension. Previously, there were tournaments like the Euro, the Confederations Cup, and the Nations League. It’s understandable that when there are objectives and major tournaments, the situation is different,” Dzhikiya told “SE.”

Earlier, the General Secretary of the RFU, Maxim Mitrofanov, stated that players receive less than 5,000 dollars for being called up to the national team. According to him, bonuses are not paid during the absence of official competitions.
