Verstappen is the fifth driver in Formula 1 history to win four consecutive championships.

Red Bull driver Max Verstappen secured the 2024 Formula 1 championship ahead of schedule at the Las Vegas Grand Prix.

Red Bull driver Max Verstappen has secured his championship title for the 2024 Formula 1 season ahead of time at the Las Vegas Grand Prix.

For the 27-year-old Dutchman, this marks his fourth consecutive victory in the World Championship of circuit racing. He is now the fifth driver in the series' history to achieve four or more titles in a row.

Previously, this feat was accomplished by Juan Manuel Fangio, Sebastian Vettel, Lewis Hamilton (four consecutive titles), and Michael Schumacher (five championships in a row).

At the Las Vegas event, Verstappen finished ahead of his rival Lando Norris from McLaren, thereby eliminating Norris's mathematical chances of winning the championship.
