Head of the Football Federation Union "Center" Eduard Maly expressed his support for the current president of the Russian Football Union (RFU) Alexander Dyuokov in a comment to "SE," who plans to run for re-election.
“We definitely plan to nominate Dyuokov for the elections of the RFU president. Several football federations are currently holding executive committees to propose Alexander Valeryevich for the presidency.
Additionally, we will have a meeting of the SFF "Center" today, where we will also discuss this matter. I would like to express my opinion; I fully support Dyuokov's nomination for this position. There is no doubt that my colleagues will share the same view,” Maly told "SE."
The elections for the president and executive committee of the RFU will take place on February 2, 2025.
