"We have all read the statements made by the governor of the Samara region. In order to draw any conclusions based on them, investigative measures must take place first, after which the competent authorities will deliver their verdict. Only then can conclusions be made," Gafin told "SE."

On November 26, the head of the Samara region, Vyacheslav Fedoriщev, stated that "Krylya Sovetov" owes 36 million rubles in bribes to unnamed criminals involved in corruption within the refereeing body of Russian football.

On Thursday, the clubs of the RPL sent a letter to the governor of the Samara region requesting any available information regarding the alleged existing corruption schemes in professional football.
