MMA fighter from Russia, representing Bahrain, Shamil Gaziev has confirmed that he is set to fight on February 1 at UFC Fight Night 250.
“My fight is scheduled for February 1. Petersen is one of those who could be my opponent. I don't mind who it will be. The most important thing is that I get to fight. If they give me someone from the top 15, I would be happy, and if they give me a champion, I would be even more thrilled. I haven't had the time to watch Petersen's fights yet. But I will take a look. Usually, I keep track of all UFC fighters, studying who is capable of what,” Gaziev is quoted by Metaratings.
The 34-year-old Gaziev has achieved 13 victories in professional combat sports.
