The president of "Ural," Grigory Ivanov, has been diagnosed with cancer, reports journalist Ivan Karpov.
According to the source, the 63-year-old official spends most of his time undergoing treatment in Germany. It is noted that if "Ural" does not make it to the RPL, Ivanov may be asked to leave the club.
Earlier in an interview with "SE," Ivanov revealed that he travels to Germany for treatment.
Ivanov has been serving as president of "Ural" since 2003. The Yekaterinburg team has reached the finals of the Russian Cup twice.
