Former Spartak footballer Gennady Morozov commented on the performance of 23-year-old defender Daniil Khlusevich from the red-and-whites.
“I believe Khlusevich could still help Spartak. The issue is that he has stopped playing. This means the coach has reasons not to include him in the lineup. He sees him on the pitch every day. Other players are performing better. If he’s not playing, it indicates he’s not at the level of Spartak, at least for now. He needs to train harder and showcase his abilities, prove himself. To play for Spartak, one must elevate their level in every training session. It’s quite simple,” Morozov told Legalbet.
This season, Khlusevich has played 13 matches for Spartak across various tournaments but has failed to score any goals or provide assists. The player’s current contract with the red-and-whites runs until the summer of 2026.
