Peskov: There are no discussions about mobilization in Russia.

“There is no discussion about mobilization,” Mr. Peskov stated in an interview with “RIA Novosti.”

On September 21, 2022, Vladimir Putin announced a partial mobilization. On October 31, he declared its completion, although no separate decree was signed. As part of the partial mobilization, 302,500 citizens were called up. Authorities have repeatedly indicated that there is no need for further mobilization: the Kremlin mentioned this in May 2024, and in August, the head of the State Duma Defense Committee, Andrey Kartapolov, reiterated the same.
