Honored Artist of Russia, Anastasia Svetlova, has lost 4.7 million rubles due to the actions of fraudsters. This was reported by REN TV citing its own source.
The actress learned about the incident by chance. She visited a branch of a Russian bank to open a credit card but was denied due to an overdue debt on a loan from another bank. The amount of this loan was 2.6 million rubles.
Additionally, the fraudsters opened a virtual credit card in Svetlova's name, which had one million rubles in the account. They withdrew these funds from the credit card. Consequently, the total amount of the loss reached nearly five million rubles.
It is emphasized that Svetlova had not taken out any loans before. She recalled that she purchased a new SIM card earlier this spring.
Previously, it was reported that fraudsters had deceived 85-year-old actor Lev Prygunov. The actor, known for his roles in the series "Uboinaya Sila" and "Gromovy," was asked to pay for medical procedures he was allegedly scheduled for earlier. The total amount of his loss was 118,000 rubles.
