"Fair Russia—For Truth" has expelled Shein following his designation as a foreign agent.

“The continued presence of Oleg Shein (listed in the foreign agents registry — "Ъ") within the party and in the leadership of the Astrakhan regional branch discredits the party and harms its political interests,” states a statement from the SRZP.

The press release notes that the party leadership did not support Mr. Shein's (listed in the foreign agents registry) condemnation of Russia's foreign policy. In June, the former State Duma deputy received a “stern reprimand for his public stance on social media that discredited the party.” At the SRZP congress, he was removed from the central council of the party.
