Former soloist of the group "Na-Na," Vladimir Levkin, passed away around 07:15 on Sunday, November 17, in the Botkin Hospital's intensive care unit. This was reported by REN TV citing its own source.
According to the publication, the musician was hospitalized on November 15 with suspected pneumonia. The next day, Levkin was moved to the intensive care unit of the specialized hospital with a diagnosis of "leukemia."
In 2003, the artist was diagnosed with stage four lymphoma. Levkin managed to overcome the illness, but ten years later, a relapse occurred. The former "Na-Na" soloist was able to achieve remission again thanks to chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant.
Despite this, Levkin continued to perform and participate in events until the very end. His last solo concert took place on November 1 in Moscow.
