Slovenian defender Sven Karic of Pari NN recalled how his relatives advised him to accept the transfer to the RPL club.
The 26-year-old Slovenian joined the Nizhny Novgorod club on September 11, 2024, with a contract that runs until June 30, 2027.
“I was at home with my family when my agent called and said there was a good offer from Pari NN. I thought about it for a while and decided to come. Leaving Slovenia wasn't a difficult decision. My relatives said everything was fine, I should go, that nothing had changed except for the situation with banks and news in the press. They mentioned that life in Russia is normal, just like in other countries around the world,” Karic told RB Sport.
In the current season, the defender has scored 2 goals in 8 matches for Pari NN.
