Slovenian defender Sven Karic of Pari NN admitted that he misses the food prepared by his mother. He also stated that he prefers Slovenian restaurants over Russian ones.
“There is our home-cooked food. Home is always better than any place abroad. Although in general, Russian cuisine is somewhat similar to Slovenian and Serbian. I miss the food my mom makes; it's the best I've ever tasted,” Karic told RB Sport.
The 26-year-old Slovenian joined Pari NN in September of this year, signing a contract until June 30, 2027. In the current season, Karic has scored 2 goals in 8 matches for Nizhny Novgorod.
