The CEO of "Khimki," Nikolai Olenyev, commented to "SE" regarding the news about the possible dismissal of the team's head coach, Frank Artiga.
It was previously reported that he might be replaced by Sergey Yuran.
"The club has an active contract with Artiga. No one intends to terminate it," Olenyev told "SE".
The Spaniard took his position at the start of the current season. After 16 rounds of the RPL, "Khimki" is in 13th place in the standings, having earned 13 points.
Yuran has already led "Khimki" three times: in 2008, 2020, and 2022. The last place of work for the 55-year-old Russian was "Pari NN," where he worked from 2023 to 2024.
